Riko became passionate about environmental issues after re-evaluating the necessities of life during the COVID-19 pandemic and is majoring in global environmental studies in graduate school. She joined Lively to pursue her passion for making better choices for the environment, as her personal happiness is linked to the well-being and vibrancy of nature. Riko designs a product that connects the environment, our lives, and ourselves. At Lively, Riko is responsible for new business development.

Akie Goto

Akie became keenly aware of the need for a sustainable way of working, especially after leaving her hometown and experiencing giving birth and raising a child in the city. She joined Lively at a perfect time as she wanted to deepen her interest in sustainability in food, clothing, and the environment, which she has been interested in for some time. At Lively, she is in charge of public relations, social media management, and a wide range of consulting research.

Masaomi Hoshino

Masaomi obtained a bachelor's degree in development economics with an interest in international social issues such as inequality and poverty. After graduating, he worked for banks in Japan and the U.S, and is currently engaged in establishing and operating medical and healthcare facilities, and consulting in the healthcare field. He is a co-founder of Lively, where he is involved in business development in Asia and solving social issues in finance, medicine, and care.

Osamu Ishihara

Osamu has a strong passion in climate change, including issues such as plastic waste and carbon dioxide flux. He joined Lively because of its dedication to global environmental issues and the diverse perspectives of its members. After graduating from a school of pharmacy, Osamu engaged in business development, marketing, and medical affairs within the pharmaceutical sector, where he primarily assisted overseas entities in entering the Japanese medical market and launching treatments for rare blood diseases. At Lively, Osamu focuses on plastics and carbon neutral projects.

Chiho joined Lively because its vision resonated with her, driven by her passion to protect the green landscape in her hometown. She is currently studying chemistry and life sciences at university, focusing on how a single molecule affects the environment and its roles in living organisms. At Lively, Chiho is working on a food loss project to accelerate transition to a circular economy.

Mina joined Lively because she found that Lively shares her vision of passing on a healthy planet and a sustainable society to the next generation, and she found people who can help fulfill this vision. She specialized in international human rights and development, and now works as a lawyer focused on business and human rights, sustainability law, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As a composting advocate for four years, Mina believes in both daily actions and large-scale efforts for change. At Lively, she uses her legal expertise to advance human rights.

Nkweuseh Reginald Longfor

Having grown up in western Cameroon, Reginald sought to solve social issues such as frequent power outages and inadequate waste management that plague urban areas. After coming to Japan, he learned about efficient waste management systems and stable power supplies, which inspired him to take action on environmental issues in his home country and throughout Africa. He also came to realize that his country has untapped potential to generate energy from waste. He completed his PhD with research on international environmental policy around practical solutions in waste management, and food and energy security, circular economy, and building just and sustainable transition process. At Lively, he promotes environmental sustainability through consulting for companies on circular economy and net zero.

Tomomi Miura

Tomomi is a co-founder of Lively, motivated by her compassion for diverse life on Earth since childhood. With a background in developing international logistics services, building global networks, and implementing operations at global companies in Japan, she brings a global perspective to her work. Tomomi holds an MBA and is currently pursuing graduate research in global environmental studies. At Lively, Tomomi leads consulting, joint research, and social engagement initiatives focused on environmental sustainability and biodiversity.

Mayuka Numajiri

Mayuka’s love for plants and passion for preserving a beautiful environment since childhood led her to Lively. She works to create a stress-free society for people, animals, and plants, in gratitude for the environment that has nurtured her. At Lively, Mayuka leads the planning and management of new projects, collaborating with students and professionals who share her commitment to addressing environmental and social issues through some initiatives include creating products from waste materials.

Yoko Shibusawa

Yoko joined Lively, inspired by the dedication of team members committed to addressing global environmental issues together. With diverse international experience, including an exchange program in the U.S., an internship in Singapore, and time spent in Canada, she has worked in new business development, PMO, and e-commerce consulting at a global IT company. At Lively, Yoko leads international certification projects such as B Corp and 1% for the Planet and supports a wide range of sustainability consulting research. She is currently an MBA candidate in Singapore.

Driven by his passion for animals, Tsuyoshi joined Lively to share and realize his vision of giving back to them. Throughout his academic journey, he has focused on animal welfare and animal behavior and then culminated in a PhD and the leadership of his research group. He strives to create a world that embodies the 'One Welfare' philosophy, where the welfare of animals, humans, and the environment are interconnected. At Lively, Tsuyoshi contributes to animal-related projects from a scientific perspective.

Having experienced various types of work, Yuriko feels that personal issues are connected to public ones. She becomes interested in sustainable environment and organization, and joined Lively to use her experience in business that promotes sustainability. Kizuku Tanabe

Kizuku developed an interest in nature and the sustainable relationship between animals and humans. He grew up surrounded by rice paddies and farms, and eventually earned certification as a veterinarian while in college. After graduating from university, Kizuku decided to address societal issues using business methods. Kizuku engaged in solving management challenges for various companies at a management consulting firm and gained experience in M&A and startup investment at a welfare service company for people with disabilities. At Lively, Kizuku leads consulting and joint research in the areas of environment and biodiversity, as well as new business development.
