Lively LLC is committed to Social Engagement, aiming to address environmental and social challenges through its business activities. As part of our commitment to creating positive social impact, we have pledged to contribute at least 1% of our annual revenue to nonprofit organizations through the “1% for the Planet” (Headquartered in the U.S., represented by Kate Williams).
As part of our concrete initiatives, we provided pro bono support to the General Incorporated Association Earth Company in 2024.
Furthermore, in December 2024 and January 2025, we made donations to several organizations, including Animal Welfare Corporate Partners Japan (AWCP), Well Aware, Bali Street Mums and Kids, and Planet Indonesia.

*About “1% for the Planet”: The global organization aims to ensure that the planet and future generations thrive. Founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, the founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, it encourages businesses to donate 1% of their annual sales to environmental causes. By supporting trusted environmental partners, members can make a meaningful impact. Today, the “1% for the Planet” network comprises thousands of businesses and over 5,000 environmental partners collaborating to protect the environment on a global scale.
As we mark two years since our establishment, we have, for the first time, thoughtfully selected the organizations we will support. Through in-depth discussions within our team, we were fortunate to connect with five organizations that align closely with our philosophy and aspirations.
Earth Company stands out as a pioneer in the social sector, sharing Lively’s vision of “passing the future to the next generation.” They are committed to cultivating talent that drives a regenerative future. Lively is proud to support Earth Company’s initiatives, including sustainability awareness surveys, data analysis, and report creation, and we look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration.
Animal Welfare Corporate Partners Japan (AWCP) is a newly established organization founded in October 2023. Led by Maho Uehara, who brings extensive experience from her work with animal welfare organizations in the United States, AWCP is developing innovative approaches specifically tailored to Japanese companies.
Well Aware is addressing the pressing challenge of creating sustainable water systems in Sub-Saharan Africa, a region where 40% of the 2.2 billion people lack reliable access to safe drinking water. As the global water crisis intensifies, we believe their work is becoming increasingly vital and impactful.
Bali Street Mums and Kids supports mothers and children in Indonesia who are facing extreme economic hardships. By providing essential resources such as food, healthcare, and education, they empower families to achieve independence while actively protecting them from sexual violence and human trafficking, thereby enhancing the safety and welfare of their entire community.
Planet Indonesia is dedicated to preserving biodiversity while empowering local communities. Their work focuses on forest conservation and promoting sustainable livelihoods. Their approach, which combines clear goals with measurable impact, serves as a deep source of inspiration for us.
While this may be just a small step, we are truly grateful to contribute to the positive cycle of environmental and social sustainability through these donations. We are also excited about the potential to explore new opportunities for collaboration through these meaningful connections.
