Lively LLC is pleased to announce that on March 20, 2025, we received the “B Corporation(TM)” certification, which recognizes companies that meet high standards for social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. B Corp Certification is an international certification system administered by B Lab, a U.S.-based non-profit organization. Since our founding in December 2022, we have shared the philosophy of B Corp, and have been working toward the goal of obtaining the certification. The application was submitted in July 2024 and the assessment process began in January 2025, and we are now the 56th company in Japan to be certified.
In the B Impact Assessment(TM), Lively scored 88.1 points, exceeding the standard score of 80 points required for B Corp certification. This is just the beginning, and we are still in the process of learning and taking on new challenges. The “B” stands for “Benefit for all,” meaning that the company meets international standards by evaluating positive impacts in five areas: employees, customers, community, environment, and governance. As of March 2025, 9,627 companies in 102 countries have obtained B Corp certification.
