Happy New Year 2026
As we welcome the year 2026, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported and worked with Lively over the past year. Your continued encouragement and collaboration have been the foundation of our progress.
This past December 12th, we celebrated the third anniversary of Lively’s founding. Reaching this milestone would not have been possible without the support of all those who have walked alongside us, and we are deeply thankful. Looking back, 2025 was a year where our individual initiatives began to bear fruit, connecting and expanding into a broader, more cohesive movement.
Engagement in International Networks
In March, Lively earned B Corp certification, becoming the 56th company in Japan to achieve this honor. Over the summer, we also joined international initiatives such as the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA), and the IFRS Sustainability Alliance, broadening our connection with the global community. Going forward, we will continue to value engagement with these international frameworks while taking Japan’s local context into account, participating in a proactive and meaningful way.
Consulting Business
With management consulting as our foundation, we have supported clients through a range of initiatives aimed at sustainability and corporate value creation. This included sustainability and value-creation workshops, business and human rights programs for overseas operations, and close collaborative support for impact-driven organizations. In the year ahead, we aim to further strengthen our collaboration with the public sector to contribute to an even broader social impact.
New Business Development
In the area of animal welfare, we launched an experiential education program at “Unshelled,” a next-generation model facility developed with Professor Tsuyoshi Shimmura of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. Building on this, we launched a new consulting service in December to support companies in advancing animal welfare through strategy and stakeholder engagement.
At the same time, we expanded into regenerative agriculture through programs in collaboration with a local farm in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. A key highlight was our proof-of-concept experiment on forest CO2 absorption using satellite and remote-sensing technologies, visualizing the environmental value of primary industries.
Looking ahead, we have begun developing brands rooted in environmental and social values. Through these consumer-facing products, we hope to gently connect everyday choices with sustainable actions, supporting meaningful behavioral change in daily life.
In 2026, Lively remains dedicated to working alongside you toward our vision: “Passing on a healthy planet and a sustainable society to future generations.”
We look forward to collaborating with you again this year.
The Lively Team
